Eastport Gallery has launched a new virtual gallery for art-lovers to explore. Currently featured on the page are tribute sections for two beloved and recently departed artists: founder Joyce Weber and longtime member Dominic Noe.
In addition, representative works by members may be enjoyed.
Coming soon to the site will be a selection of members’ new works for sale, as well as the gallery’s customary special shows. Members hope to open the physical gallery as soon as it is deemed completely safe, but in the meanwhile plan to engage audiences through the digital space.
The work of Eastport Arts Center is funded in part by a grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.
