Mary Anderson, a stalwart volunteer for EAC’s Publicity efforts, has been posting flyers for the center for four years. Retiring from work as a librarian when she and husband Bill Johnson moved from Illinois to Maine, Mary enjoys daily walks in all weather, and often has with her a large folder full of EAC posters. She’s also an artist who has enjoyed working in many media, and in both 2 and 3 dimensions. Works created in connection with the EAC include sculpture—paper mâché, wool felt, ceramic and knitted, printmaking, and in this most recent case, collage created from a mixture of past-date EAC publicity materials, mono prints and maps of places where she has loved ones. Thank you Mary, for your volunteer hours, and for sending us this artwork to share! Thanks also to our other publicity volunteers—Liz Weaver, Rosalie Woodward, Marlene Russ and Alberta Hunter.
