Stage East’s Life in Washington County, a collaborative and multidisciplinary online project, is ongoing with a large group of participants. Rolling releases, with videos premiering each week starting June 12, are underway. Read about the ongoing project here.

Arts Education Resources
We have begun a list of resources here, including video classes and more. In addition, we’ve begun a list of resources appropriate to preschoolers here. Suggestions for these pages are welcome, and can be sent to alison@eastportartscenter.org.

‘Live’ groups and classes:

Drawing Group
This group hosts two live video meetings each week: Wednesdays at 4 pm for portrait drawing (participating artists take turns holding 5-20 minute poses for each other).
Fridays at 9 am for coffee hour with still life drawing.

Laugh Lab
Island Fellow Mark Macey’s educational romp through the history and practice of sketch comedy, which began with a 5-part series on YouTube, now centers around a weekly writing group on Zoom. Classes are held Thursdays at 7 pm (with the exception of the first two Thursdays in June).
