The Eastport ArtWalk, a proud partner with Finding Our Voices and NextStep Domestic Abuse Project for the statewide “Let’s Talk About It” banner campaign, will present special events on July 25 as finale to the month’s display in Eastport. Twenty-five beautiful Maine survivors have stood loud and proud on huge banners in Eastport business windows through the month of July. On Saturday, seven of the women featured on the banners, including Finding Our Voices Founder Patrisha McLean, will be in Eastport to share their stories.

Events are as follows:

10 am-12 pm: Chat in person (from a social distance, masks please) with the survivors in front of their banners on Water Street

12:30-1pm: Music by Ross and Brandy Argir

1 pm: Discussion in the Amphitheater (masks please)

1-3 pm: Community artwork inspired by the banners will be on display at the Amphitheater.
