EAC Video’s latest is a look into the studio practice of fiber artist, weaver, spinner and dyer Gail McGlamery.  Since diving into the medium nine years ago, Gail has grown a small business selling handspun yarn and hand-dyed fibers for other artists. Her return to weaving is on full display with colorful and textured samples of her work. We also learned about her approach to creating and using color and the design elements at play in her work.
This video was made possible with support from the Belvedere Traditional Handcrafts Fund of the Maine Community Foundation; special thanks too to Bill Johnson for original music. Learn more about Gail’s work at freerangefiber.com.
