Stage East’s Laugh Lab
Island Fellow Mark Macey’s educational romp through the history and practice of sketch comedy centered around a 5-part series on YouTube, which you can view on Mark’s YouTube channel or here. The series evolved into a weekly writing group, evolved again into the weekly ‘Play-by-Play’ event which was offered over Zoom, and is evolving again at this time—result TBA!

‘Live’ groups and classes:
This group hosts two live video meetings each week: Wednesdays at 4 pm for portrait drawing (participating artists take turns holding 5-20 minute poses for each other).
Fridays at 9 am for coffee hour with still life drawing.

Held via Zoom meeting, this group meets Tuesdays from 8:30-9:45 am. Please email Lilli at email@example.com to join.
Held via Zoom from 7:30-9:30 pm on the last Saturday of each month, this event expands on the weekly drawing groups with a special gathering of artists and performers of all stripes. Models offer short gesture poses, a spoken word portrait pose, and a longer pose for artists to draw from home, while musical performers and DJs add color to the occasion.
