Eastport ArtWalk, in association with the Eastport Arts Center, Eastport Gallery and the Tides Institute and Museum of Art, continues to celebrate August abundance with a new ‘Walk of the Week’, celebrating the gardens, vistas and outdoor art found along the way.   Artist Amy Ray’s pick is featured this week, in a South End stroll (1.6 miles).

Amy Ray, who curated this week’s walk route, shared this peek into her art studio.

This week’s partner is the Eastport Labor Of Love Nutrition Center, supplying staples once a month in the form of a large box filled with shelf stable food as well as weekly perishables—vegetables, fruit, meat and fish—on Fridays. As instructors are available, cooking, canning and pickling classes are offered to help people with food preservation.  To register for assistance, or to partner through donation or volunteerism, please visit:  http://eastportlaboroflove.org/

Eastport and the Eastport ArtWalk thank Amy and the Labor of Love Nutrition Center for their contribution to the health and well-being of our community.
