Stage East invites all to take a seat for its recently retooled play reading series. During the months of November and December, Play by Play 2.0. will allow readers and listeners to experience—via Zoom—some of the most-produced plays of the 2019-2020 U.S. season. Readings will begin at 7:00 pm, and the schedule is as follows: 

November 
5th – A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Simon Stephens 
12th – A Doll’s House Part 2 by Lucas Hnath
19th – The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe
*Thanksgiving Break* 

December 
3rd – Every Brilliant Thing by Duncan MacMilan
17th – Admissions by Joshua Harmon
*Winter Break*
31st – TBD

“It’s a great way to get introduced to what’s going on in theatre right now,” said Play by Play’s organizer, Mark Macey. “Often we read the classics over and over again, so this is an opportunity to step out of that. Let’s see what’s getting people excited about the theatre in our time, in this moment.” 
Participants are welcome to read or just listen. Some roles will be precast. If you’re interested in being considered for a role, please email mark@eastportartscenter.org
