This week, Eastport Gallery introduces a new video series: Artist to Artist, produced by gallery member Jude Kempe.
“The series idea came about because as an artist myself I am interested in asking other artists questions,” noted Kempe. “‘Why do we make art? Why did we choose to be artists, and what are our influences?’”
Jude’s in-studio chat with sculptor and founding Eastport Gallery member Elizabeth Ostrander (Part One!) is the first video featured. Subsequent videos in the series will include in-studio chats and interviews; later pieces will include discussions between artists who have been drawn to the Eastport area for many years and for many different reasons.
