The Eastport Gallery hosts the Artist Roundtable discussion in the Sutherland Amphitheater on Saturday, June 26th at 12 noon. The majesty of the Bold Coast has always attracted nature lovers and has provided inspiration to artists through the ages. From the original inhabitants, the Passamaquoddy, to painter Dougal Anderson (1854-1921) who grew up on Kendall Head in Eastport, and George Pearce Ennis, founder of the Eastport School of Arts (1926-1936), artists continue to flock to the region as evidenced by the vibrant and expanding arts scene today.

Panelists artist Richard Van Buren, photographer/gallerist Greg Gordon, artist/gallerist/historian Heidi Reidell and moderator Joan Lowden will discuss the past and future of the visual arts in Eastport and Washington County.
