July ArtWalk Passport Weekend introduces a new “Little Passport” activity for participants 16 and under. Youth may pick up a “Little Passport” map at the Sweeties ‘Chalk the Walk’ booth on Water Street between 10 am and 4 pm on Saturday July 24th. After creating a chalk masterpiece on the sidewalk, proceed to the Eastport Arts Center for a KinderArts activity between 11:30 am and 1 pm* (please note that children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver), before heading back to Water Street to finish collecting all 8 stamps.
Say hello to “Shorty Mc6” by community artist Charles Kniffen, currently residing on the deck of the Eastport Gallery at 109 Water Street and one of the 8 Little Passport stamp locations. Drop off completed passports with 8 stamps in the blue bins at the Sutherland Amphitheater by 4 pm on Saturday July 24th for a chance to win prizes before the Stage East Canned Sardine StorySlam at 4 pm.
*Latecomers who miss the KinderArts activity at EAC may still collect their EAC stamp—please check the statue out front!
