Eastport Arts Center’s Board now boasts three new members: Helen Swallow, Lisa Sarish and Kieran Weston.

Swallow is a founding member of Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra and producer of Music for Children projects including Peter and the Wolf, Hansel and Gretel, Brundibár and a current opera in production. Helen has also participated in staged readings, is a member of the French Club, and is a “grateful longtime supporter of the Arts Center.”

Sarish is a painter and violist. Her medium is oil on canvas and oil on the human nude. Lisa lives and works in Pembroke with her husband and their pets. She is the painter and Project Coordinator for The Project Pandere. Her work has been shown in Washington, Oregon, and California. Lisa previously played with the Southland Symphony Orchestra and is now a member of the Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra. She has worked in support non-profit creative boards for 13 years. 

Weston is a 15-year-old homeschooled student, musician, entrepreneur, and  EAC volunteer. He has joined the Board to bring his younger perspective, and has already offered many ideas and opinions.
