Calais students in grades 3-7, as part of a summer field trip, visited the Tides Institute and Eastport Arts Center on Monday, August 2. While at EAC, the children created shaving cream marbleized papers with director, Chris Grannis. These papers were then made into pinwheels, paper chains, weaving or cards- wherever the students’ imagination took them.
After their art project, the students enjoyed an hour of fun theater improvisation games with Mark Macey, EAC’s Creative Development Coordinator and Stage East’s Artistic Director.
