The Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra (PBSO) begins the 2021-2022 season with its first rehearsal on Thursday, August 12, in Calais in the former Calais Congregational Church, now Sunrise Opportunities, at 21 Calais Avenue. The orchestra will rehearse each Thursday from 7:30-9:30 pm, with November performances in Eastport, Machias and Calais.

This fall’s program includes Tchaikovsky’s Symphony #1, Armad Jarnfelt’s Praeludium and Violin Concerto #1, composed and performed by PBSO’s conductor, Trond Saeverud.

New members are always welcome. Saeverud inspires, challenges and encourages the players, and is supported by assistant conductor Gregory Biss.
