Paint Eastport 2021 is dedicated to beloved local artist David Orrell (1934-2021), past president of the Eastport Gallery and the inspiration behind the original, long-running Paint Eastport Day. 
Paint Eastport is an open, community show, encouraging artists to paint, draw, sculpt, photograph and share their love of Eastport through the visual arts.  This year, as we continue to deal with the uncertainties of Covid, the Eastport Gallery sponsored two parallel tracks for sharing community works:  an online auction featuring 38 Eastport inspired works by artists near and far at <www.facebook.com/eastportauction>.   The online auction closes on Sunday, September 12th at 5 pm.

We also wanted to move safely outdoors with a Paint Eastport booth at the Salmon and Seafood festival so that all community members would be able to view, appreciate, bid on, and take home Eastport-themed works by local artists. Our booth at the festival was well received and helped launch our online Paint Eastport auction, which continues online at <facebook.com/eastportauction>  through September 12th at 5 pm.
