PLEASE NOTE: EAC’s Holiday Market has added a SECOND DAY, and will be open noon to 4 pm, Sunday, November 28. (Saturday’s market ran with a delay, noon to 4 pm).

Eastport Arts Center will host the 9th Annual Holiday Market from 10 am to 2 pm, Saturday, November 27.  Vendors have reserved spaces to sell fine jewelry, wood burned gifts, glass art, handspun wool and knitwear, laser cut art, stained glass, felted hats, hand-dyed one-of-a-kind woolens, sheepskins, charcuterie, unique nails, hooked rugs, goat cheese, soap, custom-roasted coffee and espresso drinks. In addition, EAC’s International Dinner Cookbook will be available for purchase during the event. A pop-up café with hot homemade soup will be open during the market; shoppers can purchase a takeout container to bring home. All proceeds from cookbook sales, the café and vendor fees will go towards EAC’s operating costs.

One artist who has registered for a space is Periwinkle Studio. The Eastport-based business creates laser cut gifts. “We aim to create the thing you, your family and friends would like to own,” notes Periwinkle’s Carolina Castello. “You will find gifts and stocking fillers!”

Plan to check out Periwinkle Studio’s wares, the EAC International Dinner Cookbook and all of the other vendor booths for one-stop holiday shopping at EAC’s Holiday Market, where you’re sure to enjoy a ‘not stuck in the Bay day’! Check out more posts about some of our other vendors here.
Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport. At this time, patrons are required to wear masks inside the EAC building.
