Eastport Arts Center will host the 9th Annual Holiday Market from 10 am to 2 pm, Saturday, November 27. Space for vendors is almost full; the remaining slots ($25) are available first-come, first-served, by email to Chris Grannis at chris@eastportartscenter.org. Prospective vendors please note: a payment of your booth fee is needed to secure your reservation.

One artist who has registered for a space is Eastport-based EAC Holiday Market veteran fiber artist, hand-spinner, and knitwear designer Manuela Brice, Lunamuse Fiberart.

From learning to knit at just 5 years old, Manuela’s lifelong practice has blossomed into a small business including her handspun yarns and knitwear originals. EAC Video’s Mark Macey visited Manuela in her studio a while back, and created this video glimpse of her journey through fashion and fiber, including a spinning demo!

Plan to check out Lunamuse Fiberart’s wares and all of the other vendor booths for one-stop holiday shopping at EAC’s Holiday Market, where you’re sure to enjoy a ‘not stuck in the Bay day’!

Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport. At this time, patrons are required to wear masks inside the EAC building.

Opposite some tempting skeins, Manuela is shown spinning in her booth at a past EAC Holiday Market.
