Eastport Arts Center is thrilled to announce that its original International Dinner cookbook, All Are Welcome Here: Recipes, Artwork and Photos from the Eastport Arts Center Community is currently available for purchase at any EAC event, by mail or arrangement with chris@eastportartscenter.org, or at Eastport Breakwater Gallery, 93 Water Street in downtown Eastport. Breakwater Gallery hours are currently Thursdays through Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm.

The book features recipes by 27 cooks from the EAC community, and is graced by images galore, with full color artwork by 7 artists and 5 photographers. Dedicated to the memory of Joyce Weber and the many passionate cooks of the EAC community, the book includes 20 of Weber’s beloved recipes, including a few notes from her recipe box.
“Joyce was a cook who loved nothing better than to feed a crowd,”
note committee members Chris Grannis, Pat Christopher, Sally DeCicco, Lora Whelan and Lane Willey in their introduction. “She shared and nurtured in so many others the love of gathering with good food.”

Designed as a fundraiser for the center to help offset the multi-year loss of several of EAC’s key annual benefits, including the Moose Island Follies (’20 and ’21), the book was a labor of love by the five committee members plus proofreaders Mary Anderson, Alison Brennan and Chris Grannis, and layout editor Lauren Koss.

In a spread from EAC’s upcoming International Dinner Cookbook, Mary Anderson’s “Fisherman” faces off with a lobster casserole recipe by the late Joyce Weber, one of many passionate cooks memorialized by the book.
