EAC’s Washington Street Gallery will host the 8th Annual Youth Art Month Exhibition this Spring, with works submitted by area art teachers representing many of our local schools (full list TBA). In addition to the submissions from students who attend local schools, the gallery is interested in submissions of works from home schooled students from around the county.
Those interested are asked to bring just one work in any medium they choose to EAC, between 1 and 3 pm either Wednesday, March 23 or Thursday, March 24. They will be asked to fill out a simple form giving artist’s name, medium and title of work, and their age and/or grade level and town of residence. Pickup of home schooled students’ works after the exhibition concludes will be arranged.
The exhibition will run from early April through mid-May; gallery is open during EAC events, by chance, and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 pm. Questions may be addressed to Cynthia Morse of EAC’s Curating Committee at cmorse@maine.rr.com.
