Stage East will ring in its summer offerings with an original musical highlighting life Down East. With music and lyrics by Elizabeth Nichols-Goodliff and book by Mark Macey, this comedic romp is sure to please families of all ages. The play features cast and crew from ages 8 to 80 and follows a family’s return visit to Washington County with many laughs along the way.
“I couldn’t ask for a better cast and team,” says Director, Lauren “L” Elwood. “This’ll be one for the books! It’s sweet, uproarious, and will have you falling in love with Maine all over again.”
Away Down East (A Wicked Good Time) shows are June 10-12 and 17-19; Fridays and Saturdays at 7 pm, Sunday matinees at 2 pm. Tickets are are available at stageeast.org under the ticket tab – Adults ($15), 17 and under (free!).
