The 8th Annual Youth Art Month Exhibition has been on view since last month at EAC’s Washington Street Gallery. The show is featured in the video below, and includes works by students from Calais Jr./Sr. High School, Elm Street School (East Machias), Eastport Elementary, Machias Jr./Sr. High School, Pembroke Elementary, Rose M. Gaffney Elementary (Machias), Shead High School (Eastport), Sipayik Elementary, Washington Academy, Whiting Village School and Woodland Jr./Sr. High School, as well as home schooled students. Thanks to popular local band Keltic Schmeltic, who contributed their tune Carolons Welcome/ Scully’s Reel for the video.

The show runs through May 16, and is viewable during EAC events or by chance, or during special open hours 1-3 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport and, and is handicapped-accessible. EAC abides by State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines. Additionally, at this time, patrons are required to wear masks when in the EAC building.
