Opening July 31 and running through August 13 at Eastport Gallery will be Gallery member Judith Clendenning’s show, My Journey with Grief. Two and a half years ago her daughter and only child, at the age of 40, was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was incurable. She passed away in March 2021. Clendenning’s recent art reflects that journey. Of these paintings Judith says, “They are intuitive and perhaps not easy to look at, but they are my gut truth of the pain, hollowness, profound sadness, anxiety, and the emptiness of her loss.” 

The all-member show will run concurrently, with all new works for August. In addition, a new Virtual Gallery Show will go live on August 1.
