EAC’s Concert Series continues through September 2, with a diverse lineup of performances planned for the Center’s main stage. Tickets are $15, and attendees 17 & under are admitted free of charge.
Coming up next, on Friday, August 5, Anne Black, violist, will present “A Timely Adventure,” featuring world premiere of John Newell’s “Pieces of Time,” written for Black, and including guest artist Brian Schuth, clarinet and bass clarinet. On Friday, August 12, guitarist Tim Pence will return to The Concert Series with a program of pieces by Anton Diabelli, Napoleon Coste, Jacques Cerf, Augustin Barrios as well as selections from his own project, The Ultra-Praxis. The series continues Saturday, August 20, with the Moch Duo: Patricia Brennan, vibraphone, and Noel Brennan, drums. Series finale is Friday, September 2: the annual Young Persons’ Concert, a
showcase of youth musicians from all over Washington County. Please note that the Young Persons’ Concert has a special ticket price of just $5.
Please note also: the Raja Rahman concert originally scheduled for Friday, August 26 has been canceled.
