Eastport Gallery member, Deborah Jellison will have her work on display from August 14th through August 27th. Her show is titled: Pattern/Figure/Nature. Inspired by the wooded landscapes and rocky coastline of her home, Deborah’s work most often references the natural environment and incorporates lush overlays of gold, texture and pattern. She hopes to offer the viewer “a glimpse of the restorative and divine power of the natural landscape and its inhabitants.” Her work covers a diverse range of subject matter, style and mediums.
Paint Eastport Day is coming soon! So, get your paint brushes ready for this fun community event for all ages! The deadline for artists is Sept. 2 for both online and physical submissions. The auction and reception will be held on September 3 at the Eastport Arts Center from 4 pm to 6 pm and will include delicious food, delightful sights, an auction as well as an online component.
