Stage East’s next session of Play by Play, Intro to Shakespeare, has been delayed by one month and will now begin on Tuesday, October 18th. The course will run into the new year with a final session in January and will cover all the originally planned works: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Julius Caesar, Othello, and The Winter’s Tale. Participants can expect thorough study guides, a paperback copy of each play, and ample time to read and discuss the work in a relaxed setting with light refreshments.

“We really try to avoid moving dates,” said Executive Artistic Director, Mark Macey, “but a funding opportunity has presented itself that would greatly reduce the cost of the course. Anytime we can make our programming more affordable, we’re going pursue it even if it causes delays.“
