Asheville, North Carolina’s genre-hopping songwriters, The Resonant Rogues, have been winning over audiences worldwide with their signature blend of string band music since 2013. Following their musical inspirations from the Appalachian mountains to the Balkans, through Paris by way of New Orleans, their original songs speak to the heart with poetic lyrics, and appeal to the ears with stellar musicianship and arrangement. The EAC is thrilled to host The Resonant Rogues on Saturday, September 24 at 7 pm.

Did you hear them?
Those within range of Shead High School’s radio station, WSHD 93.3 FM likely enjoyed “The Wildwood Flower Hour,” 6:30-7:30 pm on Monday, September 19, during which DJ Catherine J.S. Lee shared a triple-spin of Resonant Rogues recordings! An EAC Board member, Lee also helms “Blues for Your Pocket” on WSHD, serves as president of the Eastport Public Library Association and secretary of the City of Eastport Historic Review Board. She is a fiction writer, book reviewer for The Quoddy Tides and special educator at Shead High School, and recently published a short story collection, Island Secrets: Stories from the Coast of Maine.
