Children’s Theater Workshop begins Saturday, October 15 at Stage East. The program will run Saturdays, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, through November 17. The focus of the session is on producing an original play using the mystery genre as its inspiration and taking a mansion as its setting. The script will be based on characters the students create and scenarios they imagine, which will be synthesized by CTW leader and playwright, Mark Macey. A performance will take place after the final session, at 1 pm, November 17. The group will meet at Eastport Arts Center; registration is available at stageeast.org/register. Please contact markspencermacey@gmail.com with questions or comments.
