The 3rd annual Hearts for the Arts auction to benefit the 2023 Eastport & Lubec ArtWalks is online now.  The auction closes Sunday, February 12 at 5 pm. A gorgeous catalog of art, featuring 128 heart- and love-themed pieces in a variety of mediums by 57 community artists, with links to bidding on Facebook, is available at:

Of special interest to Eastport Arts Center supporters are constituent group Eastport Gallery’s members who have pieces in the auction: Helena Bosse, Alice Chen, Marlys Farn-Guillette, JoAnne Houlson, Barbara Moskol and Alison Brynn Ross.

In addition, two pieces from the Gravity Series by artist Lora Whelan are included in the auction.  Lora will present a look into her artistic process at the Sunday Series on February 12th, including her Gravity Series.  Read more about the program here:

Though the primary focus of the Hearts for the Arts auction is supporting the Eastport and Lubec ArtWalk weekends, this year there will also be an opportunity to support Stage East and Eastport Arts Center: works by Dominic Noe will be available for bid with a portion of proceeds benefiting Stage East; works by Joyce Weber will be available for bid with a portion of proceeds benefiting Eastport Arts Center.
