Stage East is thrilled to announce its upcoming “Company Formation Meeting” on Saturday, July 15 at 2 pm at the residence of Stage East President, Brian Schuth. The event aims to bring together individuals who share a passion for theater and are willing to invest their time and efforts to continue providing exceptional community-focused theater in Washington County.

During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their interests, aspirations, and availability—particularly in the next 18 months. The meeting will help identify an “artistic core” group that will convene over the summer to determine the company’s commitments for the year 2024. Additionally, Stage East seeks to build a community of individuals around this core group who will support them in achieving their objectives.

“We’re stepping into the next iteration of Stage East,” said Mark Macey, the theater’s Executive Artistic Director, “This organization has shown remarkable resilience over its lifetime, and I am excited to see what happens next. Decisions that are made at this meeting will determine what theater looks like in this community for years to come.” 

Light refreshments will be provided, and the meeting is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. All individuals with an interest in theater, regardless of their level of experience or availability, are encouraged to attend the event. For more information or to RSVP email
