Gene Nichols, new Director of Quoddy Voices, is taking singers’ requests for the choir’s fall season, which begins Tuesday, September 12, 6-8 pm. Performances are scheduled for December 15-17, 2023. The group welcomes singers of all levels of experience; no audition is required.
“Singing is good for you,” notes Nichols, known by many in the region as ‘The Music Man’ from his long list of credits, many of which involve bringing people of all ages into musical experiences. Of all of the forms of musical expression, Nichols has always ranked singing in harmony with others uppermost. “Singing radiates a beautiful spirit as far as it can be heard.”
New singers are asked to contact Nichols prior to the first rehearsal: gnichols@maine.edu or (207) 271-7169.
