Eastport Arts Center is pleased to announce a series of events celebrating harvest-time and All Hallows’ Eve.
Festivities will begin with a family-friendly Pumpkin Carving Workshop with Jacob Lucca, 2-4 pm, Sunday, October 22.
Next will be a Contra Dance with Moose Island Contra Etc., for which costumes are strongly encouraged, 6-9 pm, Saturday, October 28.
At 7 pm, Sunday, October 29, EAC Films will screen the 1962 cult classic Carnival of Souls (PG).

All are invited to gather at the Center for a Halloween Open House Party, 3-7 pm, on Tuesday, October 31. The free event will include prizes for costumes; candy and treats; a lavishly decorated photo booth with props; and live mood music—multi-instrumentalist Gene Nichols starting at 3:30 pm; and instrumental surf rock trio The Dramamines starting at 5:30 pm.

Finally, at 7 pm, on Halloween night, the Center will screen a new restoration of the 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead (NR).

Those who’d like to participate in an EAC Halloween activity without leaving home are encouraged to try our ‘Spooky & Sweet’ Halloween-theme Craft-Along with Nia video, which provides simple instruction for projects using common household supplies.

Detailed posts and event pages for all of these events are viewable via our home page.
