EAC’s Homeschool Co-op continues Friday, October 20, 1-3 pm, featuring activities for students age 6 to 17. The session will include a ‘haunted’ painting project, in which thrifted or printed public domain paintings are embellished with the young artists’ additions, including Halloween characters, color scheme alterations, etc. The group will also continue discussion of a book club for older attendees.

Co-op organizer Nicole Perkins, who serves as EAC’s Education and Outreach Coordinator notes that the group, which meets on the first and third Friday of each month at the Center, will offer some of their projects via Zoom during the winter months when commuting is often hindered.
The group is free, and welcomes new members. Coming up on Friday, October 6, the group will take its cues from the season with a pumpkin craft and a discussion of ideas for fall-inspired book club picks. Those who would like more information about the group are invited to email Perkins at nicole@eastportartscenter.org.
