EAC’s 14th Annual Festival of Trees is shaping up with beautiful contributions planned from community tree-decorators. One such offering is Mother Cat, who will be included with Lysa Intrator’s, Mother Cat (of the three Little Kittens) and Her Found Mittens Tree. Lysa is a Pembroke fabric artist who delighted last year’s Festivalgoers with the handmade Old Mrs. Rabbit doll. More information about Lysa’s artwork may be found here.

This handmade Mother Cat doll will be included with Lysa Intrator’s Mother Cat (of the three Little Kittens) and Her Found Mittens Tree.

There will be 25 lovingly decorated trees available at the festival. “Our decorators are putting their thinking caps on and coming up with some extraordinarily creative ideas for their trees,” notes Cynthia Morse, who has been at work behind the scenes on this year’s event. “This is a major fundraiser for the EAC, and the decorators are donating their time to make this event a success.”

The Festival of Trees will be held from 5-6 pm, Saturday, December 9, at EAC, and feature a raffle of giftable items, refreshments and holiday piano instrumentals by Chris Farr, as well as the ‘main event’—the silent auction of tabletop trees. Join us!
