Stage East is putting together a musical revue, “Music and the Movies”, for December 29 and 31 performances at Eastport Arts Center, and additional recruits are encouraged to join in.

“Although we have a good number of participants (18-20), we could still incorporate some more,” noted Beth Goodliff, the project’s director. Those interested should email her at elizabethnicholsgoodliff@gmail.com. The revue is especially in need of tenor, baritone or bass singers, and is interested also in having some more youth performers.

“Others are welcome too—anyone who likes to sing should email me while I’m still getting organized.”

The show will be part of Eastport’s New Year’s Eve celebration, and will feature singers performing solos, small group pieces and large group songs, similar to Stage East’s Broadway Revue, produced in 2019.

Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport, and at www.eastportartscenter.org, and is handicapped-accessible. EAC abides by the State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines, revisiting our policy monthly. At this time, the use of masks in our building is optional.
