All are invited to “Writers Read,” an open stage for stories, poems and creative non-fiction, on Saturday, January 6, 2-4 pm, at Eastport Arts Center.  Writers of all kinds, whether seasoned wordsmiths or emerging talents, are invited to share their work. The event aims to create an atmosphere of inspiration and connection and to celebrate creativity and the power of storytelling in all of its forms. Those interested in sharing their work—whether published or as yet undiscovered—may sign up for a 10-minute reading slot in advance by email to info@eastportartscenter.org, or may sign up at the event.

The free event is sponsored by a Maine Community Foundation’s Community Building Grant. Refreshments will be available for purchase; all proceeds go to support EAC’s ongoing goal of sustainability.

Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport, and at www.eastportartscenter.org, and is handicapped-accessible. EAC abides by the State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines, revisiting our policy monthly. At this time, the use of masks in our building is optional.
