Eastport Arts Center’s next Open Mic Night will be held Friday, June 14.  Sign-ups for performers will be taken starting at 5:30 pm, and the show will run from 6-8 pm. A limited number of slots for performers with special needs will be reserved for sign up in advance, first come, first served, by email to info@eastportartscenter.org (please put ‘Open Mic’ in the subject line of your request). All types of performances are welcome, but are limited to 10 minutes of stage time.

The lively event includes a mix of short acts in a casual coffeehouse-style atmosphere. Admission is free; donations will be gratefully accepted. Some refreshments will be provided free of charge; others will be available for purchase, with proceeds going towards sustaining events like these.

Upcoming Open Mics—June 14, July 12, August 16 and September 13—have been sponsored by Mike MacPhee, a realtor with Due East, bringing him up to a count of 11 events sponsored.

Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport, and at www.eastportartscenter.org, and is handicapped-accessible. EAC abides by the State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines, revisiting our policy monthly. At this time, the use of masks in our building is optional.
