EDUCATION OUTREACH COORDINATOR/part-time

The Eastport Arts Center is seeking a self-motivated individual for our part time Education Outreach Coordinator position. This role is responsible for the planning, development, facilitation, and administration of a wide variety of educational programs and initiatives at the Eastport Arts Center. The Education Outreach Coordinator can expect to work an average of 12 hours a week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and outreach for a wide range of workshops for adults and children.
  • Outreach to public schools and other organizations for education, performance, and workshop coordination
  • Assisting the various member programs of the Arts Center with their outreach goals
  • Overseeing, in person, workshops and regular programming

This is a part-time, hybrid position. Salary range starts at $16/hour and is commensurate with experience. The Education Outreach Coordinator can expect to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating 1-2 workshops or regular programs a week, sometimes on the weekend or during evening hours. Workshop and event schedules vary, so actual hours worked will vary depending on need.
