About the event
Eastport Arts Center will offer a two-part Arts Camp (for ‘bigs’ and ‘littles’) on Tuesday, February 18, during area schools’ February break week. Engaging and ingenious instructor Sara Myrick will lead a day of creative exploration with an animal theme. Campers both ‘big’ and ‘little’ will enjoy learning paper sculpture techniques to create animals real and imagined, including Chinese New Year snakes and dragons.
The morning session will run from 10 am to noon, for campers ages 8 to 18. Younger children may attend with an adult helper.
The afternoon session, from 1-4 pm, will be offered for ages 12 to 18. Older campers attending both sessions are welcome to bring a bag lunch to enjoy between the two sessions.
