High School One Act Review—CANCELED

Thursday, March 15 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We’re sad to report that this year’s High School One Act Review has been cancelled. Though we’d originally rescheduled the show (due to a snowstorm) for Thursday, 3/15, this week’s snowstorm is wreaking havoc on the schedules of all those involved, and we’ve had to cancel the event.

Fresh from Maine Drama Festival competition, the Washington Academy drama club will present a one act play at Eastport Arts Center on Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 pm.
Directed by James Ausprey, the group will present Barton Bishop’s “Things Fall (Meanwhile)” with cast members Maggie Hood, Madelyn Gardner, Hailey Boutin, Kate Somes, Gabriella Mendoza, Sam Somes, Ryan Conley, Jude Zanoni, Devyn Seeley, Rosemary Corkins, Nathan Carver, Vivian Noakes, Ayden Lamoureux, Willow Garrison, Ian Squire and Karli Williams. Ausprey describes the comedy/drama as “a unique tale of intersecting lives,” including a musical prodigy, a street performer and a hiker, and mentions, “it should be thought provoking.”
The performance will be by $3 suggested donation, and proceeds will benefit the school. The Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport, and at http://www.eastportartscenter.org, and is handicapped-accessible.
