Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra Spring Performances

June 5, 2022 @ 2:00 pm 3:30 pm

The Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra is delighted, after the long Covid hiatus, to announce its spring performances:
Friday, June 3 at 7 pm at Eastport Arts Center
Saturday, June 4 at 3 pm at Centre Street Congregational Church in Machias
Sunday, June 5 at 2 pm in Sunrise Hall (formerly the First Congregational Church) in Calais
The program includes César Frank’s Symphony in D and the premiere of a new violin concerto composed and performed by PBSO Conductor and Music Director, Trond Saeverud.
A multiage, international orchestra comprised primarily of volunteer musicians, PBSO is a constituent member of the Eastport Arts Center. Musicians work hard on difficult pieces and simultaneously have fun together. Players and audiences alike are inspired by Saeverud and by Gregory Biss, Assistant Conductor.
PBSO’s mission is to bring symphonic classical music to Washington County and New Brunswick, and to provide a place where musicians can meet and enjoy other musicians as they work hard to improve their skills. New members are always welcome.
A $15 donation is suggested for adults; admission for students is free. Nobody will be turned away.
Masks may be necessary, depending on the current requirements of each venue.
