Local artist barbara toothpick will present One-Woman Show With Alan on Friday, October 25 at 7 pm, and Saturday, October 26 at 3 pm, at Eastport Arts Center. Featuring 17 costume changes, three life-sized effigies, original music and paintings, toothpick’s show depicts her quest for what she can trust in an ever-changing world. Eastport Arts Center welcomes the Potland-based Palaver Strings on Sunday, November 10 at 3 pm for Welcome Home, a program which celebrates the vitality of Maine’s immigrant communities through music and storytelling.
