The Eastport Arts Center’s popular summer concert series will welcome back world-class concert pianist Mira Armij Gill on Friday, August 23 at 7 pm. Gill’s program will include works of Scarlatti, Ligeti, Lees, Beethoven, Liszt, Debussy and Lyopunov.  A reception will follow the concert with refreshments courtesy of Quoddy Bay Lobster. Ecstatic Dance has resumed weekly meetings at Eastport Arts Center. All are invited to come and dance to great rhythmic music and move however they wish on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm, weather permitting. Rahman will perform Bach's Italian Concerto in F, Bach-Busoni's Chaconne in D Minor, Beethoven's Sonato No. 8 in C Minor Op. 13, and Schubert's Impromptu Op. 90 No. 2 and 4.
