Eastport Arts Center’s 15th Annual Festival of Trees will be held on Saturday, December 14. Organizers are seeking individuals, teams and groups to decorate the trees, which will be auctioned off by silent bid at the event, a holiday highlight featuring a wonderland of twinkling lights, ingenious decorations and holiday cheer. A key fundraiser for EAC's year-round programming for all ages, the Festival is also a favorite social occasion for the Center's community. For many of our decorators, it is also a 'stage' on which to showcase their ingenuity and creativity each year!
Attendees will enjoy live music and treats while choosing favorites from among the forest of tabletop trees and trying for a win in the raffle of tempting gift items.
Those who are interested in decorating or volunteering at the event should reach out to Cynthia Morse, by email to cmorse4510@icloud.com. Decorator slots are first-come, first served. As in years past, a tree-decorating party will be held at Eastport Arts Center the night before the event, for those who’d like to trim their tree at the Center.
