Eastport Arts Center’s weekly Life Drawing Workshop will resume Wednesday, September 18 at 7 pm, and will meet weekly from 7-9 pm Wednesdays through November 6. The group, which will work from a live model, will be led by Anne Shields Hopkins, a frequent participant in past sessions of the workshop. Tiny Yogis sessions led by Caroline DiLio will resume for an 8-week session beginning September 19; the  program, which is part of EAC's KinderArts offerings, is intended for children up to age 5. The group will meet from 9:30-10:15 am on Thursday mornings through November 7. All Eastern European countries have at least some tradition of music and dance, usually celebrated by a Sunday Afternoon “Hora” (or dance) in the town square. Come learn these dances to exciting Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian and Israeli music. Everyone, including beginners, is welcome to come and explore this great tradition. By donation. Ecstatic Dance has resumed weekly meetings at Eastport Arts Center. All are invited to come and dance to great rhythmic music and move however they wish on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm, weather permitting. Halloween Houses: a Children’s Workshop with Sara Myrick

Eastport Arts Center will present Halloween Houses, a children’s workshop with Sara Myrick, on Saturday, October 26 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. Using a variety of upcycled materials, which is a passion of instructor Myrick, participants will be able to craft their own house and grounds, decorated as they choose—spooky or just autumnal.
