April Break Arts Camp: Music Chat & Mini Concert with Danny Holt

Wednesday, April 17 @ 3:30 pm 4:30 pm

EAC April break week Arts Camp continues with dynamic young pianist Danny Holt, who will offer a Music Chat and Mini Concert on Wednesday, April 17, 3:30-4:30 pm. An experienced youth educator and professional musician, Holt offers an exciting program to open the ears of new listeners, and demonstrate the range of his chosen instrument. Questions will be welcome as part of the hour, and Holt will engage his audience with specially curated musical selections and topics.

This Music Chat and Mini Concert is intended for students ages 10 and up and their families and friends. Admission is free. The program has been supported by a donor-advised fund through the Maine Community Foundation. Please note that prior to this event, a custom postcard workshop for youth will be offered from 1-3 pm, with artist Sue Riddle. Questions about these events may be addressed to lauren@eastportartscenter.org.

Vibrant and energetic pianist Danny Holt has played around the globe, including Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and in many other types of venues. He enjoys a mix of performing, teaching and composing, while fitting in time here and there for his other passions—hiking and donuts! He relocated recently from Southern California to Downeast Maine, where he has enjoyed a stretch of teaching elementary level music at the Elm Street School.
